From Advance Degree to Welfare looks at the increasing need for higher education educators (that’s right, the teachers) for food benefits and other public assistance. The decline in tenured positions, and the corresponding rise in adjunct professors and other part-time instructors, has left teachers with graduate degrees in a financial lurch.
